Dear Mr. Poma,

We wish to thank you for the support you gave our Dineh delegation when they
were in Geneva attending the United Nations Commission on Human Rights. Your
guidance and assistance is greatly appreciated.

We wish by way of this letter to inform you that we would like to send Helena
Begay as the Sovereign Dineh Nation representative to attend and participate
in the Working Group on Indigenous Peoples at the end of July 1999. It is
our hope that the World Council of Churches will be able to provide an
airplane ticket for her travel.

We also hope you can contact Helena Nyberg at Incomindios to support our
request for free lodging for Helena Begay and wish to obtain information
about any human rights training programs that World Council of Churches will
be providing before or after the Working Group.
